I am an Independent UK Celebrant, working with couples to tailor the perfect ceremony. Together we will create a magical moment for you to cherish, which reflects your style and personality.
Using a Celebrant really has no boundaries; your wedding really can be what you wish. From the beautiful sandy beaches, to the magnificent beauty of the woods, or perhaps you are wishing to have a themed day. I am here to work with you, to support your wishes come to life; all of which celebrates the moment you say, “I Do”.
Why choose me? Well, why not! Choosing a Celebrant is not an easy task and only you can make the right choice. Unlike traditional weddings which are conducted by Priests or Registrars and are set by restrictions and rules, a Celebrate wedding, my weddings, are open to creativity, imagination and nothing but Love.
LOCATION
There are no boundaries to where or when you get married, you have the freedom to choose the perfect location that’s right for you. From woodlands to forests, the beach to streams, buses to supermarket aisles, castles to your own back garden, you literally can hold the wedding where best suits you, as long as you have the venue owner’s permission.
At a Celebrant wedding you have the freedom to say “I Do” as the sunrises or under the Full Moon’s glisten, a Celebrant Wedding can take place at a time that suits you.
Symbolic Rituals
To enhance your wedding you have the options to add some magical touches by including the following Rituals:
• Handfasting
• Unity Candles
• Rose Rituals
• Sand Ceremonies
• Jumping the Broom
• Sealing with Sage
You can include pets, your own written vowels, readings, poems or even get your whole wedding party involved.
The Legal Bit
It is important to know that currently in England and Wales, a Celebrant wedding is not legally binding. You will need to give notice and complete the legal marriage registration to be legally wed.
To ensure the magic of your Celebrant Wedding Day remains, some couples choose to wed in private with witnesses at their local registrar office. This process will ensure that you have completed the necessary paperwork required to be legal married.
The day we have created will be your Wedding Day; the day you exchange your vows and commitment to one another surrounded by family and friends.
There are some registrar offices who are willing to work alongside Celebrants to legally confirm the wedding, however you will need to seek approval from your local Registrar office if this is a viable option.
You have the freedom to legally marry before or after your Celebrant Wedding Day.
